1) When playing a trump card, you may capture any other trump card on the table – even if it's not in your suit! 2) A player may play two cards together (of any suit), which are then both added together for points purposes (e.g., if you play an 8 and a 2 together, those would be 10 points). 3) A player can also "knock" when they have only one card left in their hand – this signals to their opponent that they are about to lose (because they cannot possibly take any more cards). When this happens, the opponent then collects all of the cards from the table and ends up winning automatically (even if they have fewer points than their opponent).
